Low concentration product: Type 28 (SLES 28).

Type 28: Colorless or light yellow liquid at 25°C.

Odor: No abnormal odor.

Performance: SLES 28 easily soluble in water, with excellent cleaning, emulsification, foaming and hard water resistance, good biodegradability.

SLES 28 can cause cell membrane disintegration (death), bind to the hydrophobic part of membrane protein and separate it from the membrane. High concentration of sodium lauryl sulfate can also destroy non-covalent bonds such as ionic bonds and hydrogen bonds in proteins, and even change the conformation of proteins. This property is often used in sodium lauryl sulfate gel electrophoresis for protein component analysis.
